Company Profile & Distinctives
IDP Consulting Group, LLC is represented by Charles H. (Chuck) Coppes, author of America’s Financial Reckoning Day and host of The Reckoning Hour, a monthly commentary on current affairs. With a business background in sales and marketing since 1975, Chuck has assisted clients with portfolio diversification as a licensed securities and precious metals broker with national firms. IDP Consulting Group is an independent precious metals brokerage firm that assists clients with precious metals retirement accounts in addition to commercial storage and physical delivery of precious metals nationwide. Hourly consulting fees are waived for all new IDP clients who also receive signed copies of Chuck’s book containing a wealth of contrarian strategies for investors.
Founded in 2003, IDP Consulting Group has grown through personal contacts and referrals and is dedicated to fair and professional service for all new and experienced precious metals investors. Our firm is comprised of a limited group of representatives in different regions of the country who provide excellent care and customer service for all phases of our business. It is our goal to educate and familiarize clients with the precious metals industry and help guide them with their investment opportunities, and generally protect them from the predatory and unscrupulous tactics employed by most gold dealers in the US. If you value honesty and integrity, we look forward to earning your trust and long-term friendship. We are available to assist you with the acquisition and delivery of precious metals and matters related to liquidations, IRA distributions and portfolio valuations.
All prospective clients, and IDP account holders, are encouraged to subscribe to our monthly newsletter that contains market updates, political commentary and current affairs from a Christian perspective. IDP clients typically share a similar ideological/spiritual worldview that distinguishes our company profile, and below are some of our company distinctives that we try to communicate to others:
-
We have a firm belief in Judeo-Christian traditional moral values and faith
-
We promote a libertarian philosophy that is similar to our Founding Fathers
-
We are warning people that our nation is heading for a financial reckoning day
-
We believe that we are living in prophetic times and this requires discernment
-
We stress the need for urgent contingency planning and personal preparedness
We welcome your business and strive to distinguish ourselves from precious metals dealers that appear on TV with expensive ads and telemarketing. We only recommend pure gold and silver bullion products that are in our client’s best interest. As a strict company policy we never solicit, harass or pressure prospective clients to either purchase precious metals or even purchase from our company at all. We believe that our clients are able to make their own decisions based on education, knowledge and understanding.
Personal Background & Dedication
Charles H. (Chuck) Coppes was raised in a small rural town in northern Indiana that was a nostalgic portrait of Norman Rockwell’s America. After serving in the US Army from 1972-1974, he enrolled in college in Phoenix, Arizona and later attended Arizona College of the Bible. At his alma mater he served as class president and is listed as a permanent member of the National Dean’s List and Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities 1989-1990. During this time, he qualified as a contestant for the 8th Annual Milton Friedman National Economic Essay Contest sponsored by the Americanism Educational League in association with the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Christian Apologetics and Comparative Religions, and his articles have appeared in various newsletters and publications. With 30 years of experience in the precious metals industry he has gained the respect of his clients and peers and has been a featured guest on national radio programs like Coast to Coast and Caravan to Midnight. His book, America’s Financial Reckoning Day, provides an intriguing background of monetary history, macroeconomics and geopolitics that is prophetically shaping our world today, along with helpful advice for contrarian investors. For the baby-boom generation this is a serious wake-up call that domestic and foreign issues are converging to script the perfect financial storm that includes everything from unsustainable debt, unfunded liabilities and derivatives exposure to an eventual currency collapse, bond defaults, hyperinflation and threats to our civil liberties. Mr. Coppes resides in the high country of northern Idaho where he enjoys skiing, researching and writing.
Out of deep respect and honor, IDP Consulting Group has chosen our first President, George Washington (1732-1799), as our corporate logo and image. Born on February 22, 1732, this great man fulfilled his destiny by forging a new nation with his courage, leadership, faith, and vision. His experience with paper money known as Colonial Script, and the utter failure of fiat currency during our Revolutionary War (1775-1783), caused him to issue these prophetic words in 1789:
We may one day become a great and commercial and flourishing nation. But if in the pursuit of the means we should unfortunately stumble again on unfunded paper money or any similar species of fraud, we shall assuredly give a fatal stab to our national credit in its infancy (America's Financial Reckoning Day, p. 16).
Unfortunately, as President George Washington warned, our nation did become a great and commercial nation; but exactly 124 years later, in 1913, our nation again stumbled upon the "fraud" of unfunded fiat paper money with the creation of the Federal Reserve System. And as President George Washington has tragically predicted, this corrupt central banking system is proving to be a fatal stab in the heart of our former Republic, along with all central banking schemes. And further, it is deeply regrettable that his noble image even appears upon our current specie of fraud.
